Mummification Story: Reflections on Mummification

Following the examination of my recent narrative, various analyses emerged exploring the reasons behind people’s fascination with being mummified and willingly surrendering control of their lives to another person. The response from readers, particularly women, was unexpected. Some agreed, some disagreed, and others graciously shared their experiences.

It’s intriguing why individuals chose to write to me instead of sharing their stories directly with Gromet, considering his reputation for keeping secrets. Nevertheless, people had diverse motivations for desiring mummification, whether for themselves or others. Personally, my interest in mummification was sparked after a visit to Egypt and experiencing the mummy room in the Cairo museum. The profound impact of seeing once-abstract names in books transformed into tangible mummies stayed with me.

Contrary to some, my involvement in mummification is not primarily sexual. For me, the process goes beyond that, as I can even fall asleep before being fully bound – a potential setback in the realm of mummification.

Many men express a desire to be mummified, often associating it with a sexual high. Some seek mummification to experience sexual torment, though it may not be the ideal position for such activities. My personal journey involved attempts at self-mummification, inspired by a history of self-bondage exploration, but the results were never satisfying.

Then, I met Len, an expert in mummification. Together, we perfected the art, realizing that merely wrapping a body in bandages was insufficient. Movement had to be restricted by placing the person on a plywood board, binding each part of the body meticulously. Sensory deprivation played a crucial role, with eyes and ears covered, and breathing facilitated by a snorkel mouthpiece.

Several individuals shared their unique experiences with me, ranging from using mummification as a form of punishment to incorporating it into intimate relationships. The diversity of stories demonstrated that mummification appeals to people of all ages, not just the youth. Despite encountering skepticism from some, the common thread among enthusiasts was their gentle and trustworthy nature.

While I received offers from those eager to share mummification experiences, my trust had developed over years with one person, highlighting the personal nature of such practices. Ultimately, the pleasure derived from being mummified, the inner sensations of restriction, and the anticipation of release contribute to the unique allure of this unconventional passion.

In conclusion, as long as individuals engage consensually and responsibly without causing harm, the freedom to explore diverse interests adds richness to life. The element of trust and the thrill of uncertainty are integral aspects of the shared experience of mummification enthusiasts. Therefore, it’s crucial to approach these activities with caution and enjoyment.
